AP breakfast

The AP breakfast is on Tuesday February 26 at 8:00 AM. At the breakfast students have the opportunity to register for any AP tests that they intend to take.

The purpose of AP breakfast is to celebrate student taking AP exams,” said Student Success Advisor Pamela Zablocki. “It also gives us an easy way to collect money for the exams.”

Taking AP classes has multiple advantages.

“For 25 dollars you could potentially save money for college; 25 dollars is way cheaper than paying for a college course,” Zablocki said. “ The test taking and study skills learned from AP classes also help with college.”

A 5 on an AP test is equivalent to an A in a college class. A 4 is equivalent to a B, and a 3 a C. Certain classes in the social studies, English, math, science, foreign language, and fine arts departments are offered as AP classes. The fee for registration is 25 dollars per exam. Students should have two printed receipts with exact cash or check.
