Founder of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Mark Woods created a program called Electrify Your Strings, offering music education programs for orchestra, band, and choir students from Kindergarten to 12th grade that focus on improvisations and self- expression through contemporary music. Once a year he comes to San Antonio, Texas at the Aztec theatre to show the community what these programs have learned. This year, the Holmes orchestra and choir were featured prominently in the show. Here are some of the sights from the performance.

  1. Thanks Stormy and team for covering this for us this year! We’re very proud of the Holmes/BC students and their accomplishments! I know Mark Wood, Haydn Vitera, Val Vigoda, Laura Kaye and Nathan Blake LOVE coming to SA to work with these guys!

  2. Thank you for the awesome coverage! Our Electrify Your Strings and Choir programs are all about empowering students and helping them to own the spotlight, onstage and off! We always find such incredible talent when we visit San Antonio and our visits are truly the highlight of our year! 🙂
