“I’ve loved my high school football experience,” Blake said. “There’s been lots of ups and lots of downs which both molded me to be who I am today.”
The sport requires teamwork, which is an aspect that is difficult, yet has a positive effect; Ian Blake recognizes both.
“We were a family,” Blake said. “We clashed with each other, but at the end of the day we were brothers.”
Senior Ryan Martinez explains why he enjoys the atmosphere of the team.
“It’s like a family; you get to go out there and play with your best friends in front of a bunch of people,” Martinez said.
Senior Chandler Iturriaga has favorite memories that happen to not be on the field.
“The locker room is definitely where we shared a lot of experiences,” Inturriaga said.
The Broncos advanced into the playoffs defeating teams such as Boerne Champion (24-21), Madison (30-7), Clark (42-14), Holmes (56-6), and Stevens (56-22).
