The students at our campus speak about the officers around our school, the Thanksgiving fundraiser, and the end of football season.

Our officers on our campus are often seen patrolling and some students know about their purpose on this campus.

“I feel like the reason the police are on our campus is to make sure there is a good learning environment. To do that they have to make sure the whole student body is following the rules and laws so everybody could have a great experience at this campus”  says sophomore, Juan Castaneda.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and most people in the community do not have enough money to afford a thanksgiving dinner, that is why the students and coaches at our school are helping raise the money.

“We start this to basically raise funds for them through the run-a-thon,through the candy sales so we can have a Thanksgiving dinner for at least 100 families.” says cross country coach, Steve Barlow.

The end of football season is nearby as many varsity players say goodbye to their days on the field.

“Leaving my high school experience behind, I feel really good to pass the torch off to the younger kids.” says varsity linebacker, Deavon Frazier.
