With thanksgiving being over, some programs contributed to the community by lending out a helping hand.

The automotive clubs helped the community by fixing and giving away cars to needy families.

“I can’t wait to make the family happy, to see the joy on they’re face that this car is going to bring them, this van  they defiantly need it, something we worked on and put so much passion into can actually bring someone so much joy and they need this,” junior Serena Walker said.

ROTC helped provide thanksgiving meals to families in the community who needs them.

“The goal was 600 but we defiantly surpassed that goal over a week, During thanksgiving holidays you don’t have any food nothing basically, so it’s a community helping a experiment for a lot of people. It’s a great way for people to get a long and provide for the community.” junior Nicole Guzardl said.
