Although the school year has started, seniors have commenced to apply for scholarships. Students were asked if their high school experience was useful but some students disagree that high school wasn’t exceptionally helpful.
“I actually don’t think it’s prepared us enough for the past four years, I feel like college is a different experience. I feel like the classes aren’t hard enough,” BC senior Kodi Oehler said.
Some students have found some use in the high school experience and have made efforts in doing scholarships.
“I think we’re still in the process for preparing but they definitely helped. There’s a lot of opportunities that we got access too and that helps with scholarships,” BC senior Hayden Hovsepian said.
The Career Center has offered advice and many opportunities to get students on the right path to college. They are located in F102 from 8am to 4:15 to answer any questions about college needs.
“Majors, the distance from home, the size of the university, and what is the makeup of the student body those are important things to look at,” College and Career Center Director Mary Clack said.
