The recent debacle about President Donald Trump’s thought about getting rid of the DACA program, which allows teens to enter the United States to be educated, has shaken many students on campus.
“At first it came as a shock, I did hear about all the political affiliations and things that were going on with that in regards to DACA however i’m still a little hopeful nothing would happen,” Holmes Grad and DACA Recipient Melissa Garcia said.
While anticipating the arrival of the A building, some students have their opinions on the construction and all its mess.
“You get in trouble for being late when it’s not our fault it’s the construction’s,” junior Vanity Martinez said
In the midst of construction the students are offering various solutions to help adjust themselves this school year.
“I feel like it’s making things harder for the campus. I think that they should make longer passing periods,” junior Joey Ortiz said.
