Time Management & Ways to Improve Attention

YOU. Yes, YOU. Have YOU ever felt like time moves WAYYY too fast sometimes? Like it’s 10 o’clock when you look at the time and the next it’s already 12?

Yes? Maybe? Sometimes?

WELL!! You, my awesome amazing reader, are struggling with time management AND attention focus! Everyone sometimes struggles with time management, it’s normal! What’s NOT normal is feeling like you don’t have enough time for things you need to do and things you want to do.

This is why timers or alarms were invented, but you wouldn’t want to use them, would you? Alarms are annoyinggg and soooo louddddd– they make too much noise!

Well, my cool and fantastic reader, I have a solution for YOU! According to summer.harvard.edu, you should set reminders on your phone or even have a calendar at home, or the one that is on your phone, to jot down important dates! You should prioritize things that are more important than others, like studying for a test over playing video games! Don’t overwhelm yourself with a lot of things at the same time though, set a timer for about an hour or two so you can do whatever you need to do within that period of time.

Obviously you can ask people for help, like making sure they keep you on track and not get distracted.

Speaking of distractions, they’re the main thing that make people struggle with time management also. There are ways to avoid getting distracted such as silencing your phone or staying in a more quiet environment to stay focused on what you’re working on!

You CAN have periods of time where you pause studying and give yourself about thirty minutes to chillax and then go back to doing whatever is important at the moment! It’s not healthy to be hunching over your project for hours and hours without moving from that same position, it’s important to have good posture!

Now, my awesome cool amazing fantastic reader, you know how to manage your  time AND help yourself focus more. Make sure to ACTUALLY follow this article’s advice instead of reading and brushing it off.

I’m still waiting. Take your phone out. Yes, now. Start setting up those alarms. Trust- you will thank me later. So to save you another step. You’re Welcome!
