The Solar eclipse of April 8, 2024 was a very historical event for San Antonio. Taft high school students went out on the football field and soccer field to enjoy the eclipse as a school. Isiah Zamot comments on the event “Oh yeah the eclipse was pretty mid, it was underwhelming and kind of boring.” The eclipse was barely visible due to the dark clouds blocking the view. All though the clouds were in the way, we were still able to get some glimpses of the sun getting covered by the moon. The darkness from the moon also brought a chill environment to the school. Unfortunately, the eclipse wasn’t visible but all the students still enjoyed being together with their friends!
