With Spring break coming up, our raiders will have a lot of free time on their hands. With so much free time, we have some activities our raiders could participate in.
- Otaku Cafe Anime Arcade! For all our Anime nerds there is a cafe at 7022 Bandera road called the Otaku cafe. Here they have Japanese video games, dance games, and a shop towards the front of the store with Japanese snacks, anime models and toys.

2. Bowling with Friends! There are many bowling alleys in San Antonio in which you can go with a date, best friend, or a group of friends. It always fun to get off of screens sometimes and really be in the moment. Some addresses are Oak hills bowling 7330 Callaghan road, 3203 harry Wurzbach Road, Bandera Bowl 6700 Huebner Road, and Bowlero 13307 San Pedro Ave. Although there are many more bowling alleys in San Antonio these are my personal favorite.

3. The Movies! There are many movie theaters in San Antonio, but here are my best picks! Flix Brew house is a movie theater that features in-theater dining to make the movie experience better than ever! You can find Flix at 845 TX-1604 Loop. Their menu consist of delicious burgers to hot-to-go pizzas. Another great theater is Santikos Casablanca on 11210 Alamo Ranch Pkwy. Although any Santikos theater is great, their Casablanca location is closest to our area. Casablanca has a Arcade, bowling alley, and their food is amazing. Lastly we have the Regal Alamo Quarry; this theater is located at 255 E Basse Rd Ste. Not only is the Quarry theater huge, they also have a $5 ticket sale on Tuesdays. They are also located by the Quarry market as well if you’d like to go shopping after.

4. Shopping Vintage! If you are anything like me, you LOVE a good vintage shop. The thing about vintage though, is that they’re usually very overpriced for something that is already worn. I have found some vintage shops though that are cheap, eccentric, and have all sizes. My personal favorite is Augustine Vintage located at 1420 S Alamo St. This shop has some of the coolest clothes I’ve seen and don’t overprice it. The owners are good people and even after, you could get some Gelato next door! Another vintage shop that has pleased me is the Hello Tallulah shop on 1912 Fredricksburg rd. This store focuses on clothes and styles from the 70s,60s,and 50s so if you are interested in any type of fashion from those decades this shop is for you!

5. Brunch time Bakeries!
Me and my friends are always down for a sweet treat. Here are my favorite Bakeries in San Antonio! The Baklovah Bakery is family run place with Turkish treats, Ice cream, and coffee. My favorite pastries from them are their “Dubai Chocolate” which is a pistachio filled chocolate bar, their Cannolis, and their mouse treats. They are located at 9329 Wurzbach Rd #104. Another great bakery is the La Popular Bakery on 10151 Culebra Rd. Many of my friends and family have been coming to this bakery for quite some time because not only are they cheap, but their treats never disappoint. Some of my personal favorites from their menu are the Cherry pie slice, Pink Cake, and their powdered cookies (specifically the heart ones).

6. Biking Downtown!
For anyone who enjoys the sun or just being outside in general, the city has provided you with bikes so you can enjoy the downtown city without bringing your own. You can get a pass or rent some bicycles out for you and your friends to enjoy the Riverwalk, downtown architecture, or to simply just enjoy the spring weather. Also, if you enjoy biking Downtown enough, there is a festival held every year downtown called Siclovia. At this festival you aren’t restricted to just biking, here you’ll see people on Roller skates, Rollerblades, Unicycles, and many more! There are also food trucks so you don’t get too hungry during your ride. This year it will be held on March 23 from 10 AM- 2 PM.
