This Tuesday our Taft Raider Band hosted their annual Italian Dinner! The Italian dinner is hosted every year to celebrate the bands hard work during marching season. To start off the night the bands silent auction started where each section created their own gift baskets and friends and family watched the Briscoe Jazz ensemble perform a couple tunes while eating their delicious Italian food. Once the full taft band came out they started their performance with some stand tunes like: Malagueña, Runaway Baby, and of course the Taft Fight song. After that Mr. Mills, the head band director, made sure to show his appreciation for all the hard work the band, staff, and volunteers have put into the program and introduced the bands marching show for the last time. Once the full band was finished for the night they went to grab some food of their own and watched the Taft jazz ensemble perform some more songs for the night.
