With the new year just beginning, it leaves room for new pop culture to be released out into the world. One degree of pop culture that is heavily looked forward to this year is all the new anime planning to be released these upcoming months. A few examples of the most anticipated releases include Haikyu!! Season 5, My Hero Academia season 5, and Attack on Titan: The Final Season. I believe that these are the most popular among anime watchers because the majority of anime watchers are girls, and these tend to be very commonly watched animes with the girls.
“Out of all the new releases, I’m most excited for Haikyu!! season 5 since it’s one of my favorite animes,” sophomore Ana Dyson said.
As revealed through surveys, the top 10 most hyped animes coming out this year are My Hero Academia’s 3rd movie, The Promised Neverland season 2, Attack on Titan: The Final Season, My Hero Academia season 5, Haikyu!! Season 5, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, Given: The Movie, Seven Deadly Sins season 5, Demon Slayer movie, and Yuri on Ice: Ice Adolescence. These animes have made the top 10 due to their popularity among their audiences; containing likeable characters and interesting plots that leave the watchers begging for more.
As well as the continuation of many good animes, this year also promises anime watchers many new series’ that are to be released such as Sk8 the Infinity, Wave!! Let’s Go Surfing, 2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu, and Horimiya.
