This week, students talk about the blood drive and their own opinions on the world.
Students talk about what the blood drive is and how it’s beneficial to others.
“We work with the South Texas blood and tissue center, nation wide high school students are one of the biggest donors and collected 143 units of blood each unit of blood can save up to three lives,” Health Science teacher Shannan Rojas said.
“I think the blood drive impacts the community because it really shows an initiative to help those really in need. It’s really cool to see people i know giving blood to give back to the community and to really show their appreciation for what this blood drive stands for,” junior Devin Norman said.
The students talk about their different opinions on what is happening in the world.
“My opinion on abortion is that i think it should be up to the person whether they choose to do abortion or not. I think it’s crazy that the government is telling people what to do and not giving them the right or option to do what they want to do,” junior Dezaray Villarreal said.
