This week, students talk about black history month and their feelings on valentine’s day.
Black history month is this February and some students talk about how they feel about it.
“Things would of probably been different if those people never fought for what they believe in,” sophomore James Webb said.
Valentine’s day just passed but some of the students share their opinion on the holiday itself.
“I think it’s a good day to get dressed up and enjoy yourself, even if you don’t have anybody to be your valentine. It’s just good to appreciate yourself,” senior Sidney Campbell said.
Some are more critical of the holiday, considering it more of a waste.
“I feel like people spend too much money on stuff they don’t need,” senior Jessica Lim said.
