This week the students talk about AVID classes and how senior year is going for the seniors.
AVID is a college preparedness class which helps students get ready and see what to expect in college. Some students talk about what they think of the course and how it helps them.
“AVID prepares you for college and the real world that’s what they offer everywhere else in this school. Not a lot of teachers tell it as it is and she gives us all of that in that class,” senior Kaitlin Rodriguez said.
With the end of the school year coming by fast, seniors this year are trying to get as much done for when they get ready for college next school year.
“Just knowing the fact that school is almost over just makes things so much harder because I kind of don’t want to pay attention any more,” senior Jason Ramirez said.
Some seniors talk about how senioritis is affecting them.
“This year is kinda intense and overwhelming so now I know what it’s like to have senioritis,” senior Angela Villanueva said.
