Bella Placido only started playing volleyball 1.5 years ago at the age of 10. “I wanted to play after seeing my cousin play.” She won’t admit it herself, but she is a natural talent- being so good with such little experience.
She played for our @LadyJags team, but spends 10 hours each week practicing and playing for TCVA (Tri -County Volleyball Association). This is a team that has traveled out of the city and state. They even made it to Nationals last season!
Bella plays with her best friend and fellow Jag- Lila Vasquez on TCVA. She plans to continue playing through 8th grade and into high school with hopes of even playing in college.
