Congratulations to those who competed at UIL! Special congratulations to Aika Meleues, Shanon Langas, Connor Grizzle, Abel Nunez, Isak Matis, Amy Lowe, Eva Pate, and the Science Team for placing in an event at UIL!  Taft placed 3rd overall!

Mrs. Mcarthy wants to give a special shout-out to the CAHS Yearbook Staffers: Chloe Sanders, Madison Carter, Ava Baldarrama, Elijah Longoria, Karolina Vega, Nicolas Jauregui, and Mylo Jimenez for meeting their final deadline and finishing the book on time. It will arrive and be distributed in late May, but you still have time to purchase a yearbook if you haven’t. Act fast as supplies are limited. Go to Jostens Yearbook online and order today. The Yearbook is a combined book with Taft and cost 80$. We are excited for everyone to see this TIMELESS book of memories.

If you interested in comic books, graphic novels, and manga, you are invited to attend the Everything Comics Club meeting. on Tuesday, March 29th, in the Library from 4:45-5:30. This club will be covering everything from the technical aspects of comics to creating your own!

Wednesday, March 30th

Attention commies! interested in performing material? Whether it be music, poetry, stand-up comedy, or anything that tickles your fancy – In front of a live audience of your fellow classmates? Then stop by room c220 and sign up for GrassRoots! The event takes place on Friday, April 1st from 6:30-8:30 pm in the LGI. Tickets go on sale this week. Remember: If you want to perform it’s first come first serve. and all poetry and song lyrics must be approved – so keep it clean!
