Gifts for Parents That Say They Don’t Need Anything

Many parents say they don’t need presents for Christmas, but when you see them receive a present it is the best thing to watch.It is always nice to give your parents a gift after all that they do for you. You probably don’t even know what to buy for them, but there are so many presents you can purchase. If you are like me, and you don’t have any money, you can make DIY gifts.
Jewelry is a really amazing gift you can give someone. You can give them a necklace, bracelet, watch, and so many other types of Jewelry. Kendra Scott is a really good store if you are looking to buy jewelry. For watches, there are some stores like Timex, or G-stock which are affordable watch brands. If you don’t have any money, you can make bracelets! There are some really cheap bracelet kits for about $10-$20. If you don’t know how to make bracelets, there are so many tutorials all over the internet that you can watch.
Speaking of DIY gifts, Liliana Hernandez, a 7th grader, has made gifts and bought gifts as well. She recommends, “If you want to make something for your parents that is DIY, you should make a flower bouquet. They would really appreciate it.” She continued to say that if you are looking to spend money, a Bath and Body Works set is a really good gift because her mom loved it. Gifts are a really good way to show your love and appreciation to a person you care about.
Affordable gifts are another way to spend your money on gifts. According to, goodhousekeeping.com a microwave popcorn popper is a good gift for $13. You can also get a travel velvet jewelry box for $10-$20. They come in four beautiful shades: black, green, pink, and blue. Christmas gifts cost a lot less when Christmas is far away, so I suggest buying early.
Buying for dads can be very hard, but luckily I have some ideas for you. A massage gun is a good gift because most dads get stressed out sometimes because of the simplest things, so a massage gun would really help the stress. Sunglasses can also be a good gift for dads. I know that they would appreciate it.
Buying for moms can be easy, but also hard at the same time. Gift Cards are always a good gift. Just find out what your mom’s favorite store is, find a gift card from there, and now you have a gift! It might not sound like the best gift, but it’s still a thoughtful one. Clothes are also a simple gift for mothers. A store where I recommended buying from is American Eagle. They have so many choices for jeans, shirts, leggings, and so many more clothing items. Candles can calm people down and especially mothers. There are some good candle shops like Bath and Body Works, Bed Bath and Beyond, and there is always Amazon.
Your parents would most likely appreciate a DIY even if it’s just made out of paper. You can make cards that say breakfast in bed, or a free massage. A candy bag full of Christmas themed candy, or just their favorite candy would be a very thoughtful gift too. A DIY snow globe is easy to make if you do it right. First get a jar, a tiny fake christmas tree, sugar, and a hot glue gun. Next, glue the tiny christmas tree to the lid of the jar. Then, fill the jar with the sugar. Lastly, shake it. Now you have a snow globe!
If you do end up getting your parents expensive, affordable, or DIY gifts, I know they will appreciate whatever gift you make for them. It’s still nice to get a gift for them. It’s important too!
